Your board and screenshots
When you select, paste, or drop a screenshot, the browser opens it locally and samples colors on your device. The screenshot and the board you build are not sent to a Meowdoku Web application server. Solving and hint calculations also run in your browser.
If you start with a screenshot on the homepage, the browser temporarily keeps that image in local IndexedDB storage to carry it to the Solver. The copy is deleted when the Solver reads it. An interrupted transfer may leave the copy on your device until the next visit clears it after ten minutes, or until you clear this site’s browser data.
The current site does not offer accounts or cloud saves. Your edits are held in the open page and are not restored after you reload it. If you use the local developer ingest tool, downloading or copying JSON is an action you initiate on your own device; that tool is excluded from the public build.
Cookies and analytics
The current application code does not set first-party cookies, save your edited board in browser storage, or load a custom analytics service. The temporary screenshot handoff above is the only current browser storage use. Hosting and browser behavior may change independently of the puzzle code; this statement describes the present build.
Static hosting
A request for a page or asset reaches the hosting provider, Cloudflare, which may process request metadata needed to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare explains its own data practices in its privacy policy linked below. Opening an external link leaves Meowdoku Web.
Automatic screenshot recognition also runs locally in your browser using a background worker. Recognition pixels and results are not uploaded. They are released when you replace or remove the image or leave the page; the existing one-time homepage transfer remains the only temporary image storage.
